I will set up my PiKaraoke to my Proxmox Server. The reason is taht im planning to allow RDP to the machine to be able to connect anywhere, PC, LAptop, Apple TV, Phone, Tablet, etc... I will pair it with a JBL 3100 and it makes a mobile Karaoke.

1. Create a VM - I choose the Windows 10 and install necessary dependencies

• VLC
• Phtyon - Note: Download the Python 3.7 Version! Dont Go to the Latest
• youtube-dl (yt-dlp) - Install using scoop. Click here for instruction : https://scoop.sh/
• git-scm : Click the link : https://git-scm.com/download/win

2. On your Desktop or any directory open CMD

3. Clone the repository - "git clone https://github.com/vicwomg/pikaraoke.git"

4. Once Done, navigate to the directory - "cd pikaraoke"

5. Using pip (It is already installed) -  "pip3 install -r requirements.txt" and wait until all dependencies installed.

6. Once done, type - "python3 app.py" - this will run the application

7. Optional - To make it easier to run the application. Create a .bat file inside the application folder

• Open notepad and create new file
• inside the file type "python3 app.py"
• Right click and Create a Shorcut to Desktop
• Rename the shorcut to something meaningful and change the icon - you can upload. Make sure it is .ico file, you can use online converter to do it.
• Test by simply clicking the shortcut file
• Allow RDP to the machine - Please google on how to allow RDP

8. For my set up, I have an apple TV - I install RDP Apps - $8.00

9. Set up RDP using the IP Adress of my PiKaraoke Machine

10. Test - And Working, You have now your own personal and mobile karaoke. 

11. Optional - For my set up, i have my own domain and i created a subdomain site to queue songs and insted of using the IP Adress i use an actual readable URL.
